    Knowledge & Expereince

  3. DIVISIONAL CONTROLLER
  4. This position is accountable for providing administrative and finance support to Divisional Controller and office utilizing initiative and judgement.

    Candidate must be able to:

    • Reconcile and tracking high volume inventory on a daily basis.
    • Handle recurring office procedures.
    • Input and monitor sales invoices.
    • Prepare & review grower final liquidations.
    • Work with Customs, USDA and other agencies as necessary for importing/exproting operations.

  5. General Manager
  6. We are in search of a General Manager for our South San Francisco branch. This position will be responsible for proper control and coordi nation of sales, purchasing, operations and profitability of the division. Our South San Francisco division is a small but growing branch currently with 35 employees. We are a 24-hour operation with peak hours from midnight to noon. Must be able to maintain a firm hand of all aspects of operations and maintain an effective balance of communication between management, sales, and operations personnel.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

    • Plans, organizes, leads and controls sales (prices and volume), purchasing, warehousing personnel to improve profitability and customer relations.
    • Participates in customer and vendor relations to increase sales volume and acquire quality products at reasonable prices.
    • Assists in the formulation and implementation of corporate policies.
    • Approves purchases and sales orders and enforces compliance as to company policy.
    • Interacts with employees, customers, vendors and government agencies.

    KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

    • Requires Bachelors in Business Administration
    • Must have a 8+ years in Produce Industry in comparable capacity.
    • Good working knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel would be helpful.

  7. Operations Manager
  8. Operations Manager needed for small warehouse in Princeton, Florida. This position is responsible for the close supervision of warehouse personnel in order to facilitate timely and accurate shipping and receiving products.

    We are a 24-hour operations with peak hours from midnight to noon. Must be able to maintain a firm hand of all aspects of operations and maintain an effective balance of communication between management and all warehouse personnel.


    DUTIES include but are not limited to:

    • Hands on supervision and training of warehouse personnel.
    • Directs dispatching personnel to insure timely and accurate scheduling of customer shipments using customer invoices.
    • Manages receiving personnel to insure proper count and physical inspection of merchandise based upon P.O's received and proper distribution of product to designate slot locations for stock rotation.
    • Coordinates inter-company transfer of product among warehouses for customer deliveries.
    • Prepares warehouse for physical inventory.
    • Overseas proper warehouse maintenance and safekeeping.
    • Participation in overall development of Division.s Profit Planning Program and control reporting system.
    • Performance of special cost studies as required (e.g. delivery, Labor sorting).
    • Responsible for controlling labor.
    • Selection, training development, motivation, review and control of warehouse employees to assure continuity of efficient operations.
    • Requires a flexible work schedule.

    KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

    Must have a minimum of 5 years warehouse management experience; background in the produce industry is a plus. Good working knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel; and course work in Business Administration would be helpful.

  9. Delivery Drivers
  10. Delivery Driver with Class A driver's license. Our drivers deliver fruits and vegetables through out San Diego County. Applicants must have minimum two years of local delivery with Class A and customer service experience. Job requires frequent reaching and lifting of 40lbs to 100lbs. Bring current DMV printout.

  11. Loaders
  12. Load pallets with boxes of produce to be delivered by truck to customers. Boxes of produce are lifted off stacks in cooler, warehouse or receiving dock. Merchandise is placed and moved with dolly, pallet jack or with forklift. Merchandise is then transported to loading dock in box or bag. Merchandise can weigh from 5 to 100 pounds. Must have 2 years previous warehouse experience.

    Gerneral Funcitons and Specific Responsibilities for loader position

    • In order to perform related functions it is necessary to be fast paced.
    • Able to lift 50 to 100 lb.
    • Forklift and pallet jack operation.
    • The ability to follow directions from a supervisor;
    • The ability to interact effectively with co-workers;
    • The ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures;
    • The ability to accept constructive criticism.
